Technical Sales Representative

**About the Role**
At OTC Industrial Technologies, we're seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for engaging with key decision makers in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Chemical industries.
**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with rotating equipment engineers and maintenance professionals to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to enhance customer knowledge and awareness.
- Establish rapport and participate in joint sales calls with manufacturers represented by AirTech.
- Attend sales meetings and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Maintain high knowledge level of products, processes, and the latest industry trends.
- Entertain customers and/or vendors to strengthen relationships.
- Provide start-up service and support when required.
- Perform failure analysis of mechanical equipment and report findings.
- Manage equipment performance improvement programs, report actions and results in quarterly meetings.
**Requirements**
- Engineering or technical degree and/or rotating equipment experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (Selltis a plus).
- Valid drivers' license with clean driving record.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Influential customer service skills with a talent for building relationships.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
- Accomplished at working both independently and as an active team member.
- Customer-centric focus (internal and external customers).
- Comfortable making cold calls and engaging in conversations.
- Mechanical aptitude including an understanding of rotating equipment, fabrication/manufacturing of equipment and machine shop processes preferred.
- Ability to interpret industry standards and engineering specifications (API and ASME).
- Prior plant experience is preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
