Technical Sales Professional

- Engage with key decision makers in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Chemical industries to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with rotating equipment engineers and maintenance professionals to troubleshoot and solve problems, ensuring optimal equipment performance.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to enhance customer knowledge and awareness of our compressed air systems and services.
- Establish rapport and participate in joint sales calls with manufacturers represented by AirTech to drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and attend sales meetings to ensure our customers receive the best possible solutions.
- Maintain a high knowledge level of products, processes, and the latest industry trends to provide expert advice to customers.
- Entertain customers and/or vendors to strengthen relationships and drive business growth.
- Provide start-up service and support when required to ensure seamless equipment integration.
- Perform failure analysis of mechanical equipment and report findings to improve equipment performance.
- Manage equipment performance improvement programs, reporting actions and results in quarterly meetings.
- Engineering or technical degree and/or rotating equipment experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (Selltis a plus).
- Valid drivers' license with a clean driving record.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Influential customer service skills with a talent for building relationships.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
- Accomplished at working both independently and as an active team member.
- Customer-centric focus (internal and external customers).
- Comfortable making cold calls and engaging in conversations.
- Mechanical aptitude, including an understanding of rotating equipment, fabrication/manufacturing of equipment, and machine shop processes preferred.
- Ability to interpret industry standards and engineering specifications (API and ASME).
- Prior plant experience is preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
