What We Are Seeking:

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong passion for recruitment and a minimum of 2-4 years of experience to join our HR Team. This role will involve managing the recruitment and onboarding processes for our organization while supporting various business units in their staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously assess and refine WEHR's sourcing strategies, metrics development, and daily management of recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and Directors to create staffing plans aligned with business requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison for candidates throughout the entire recruitment process.
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for all new hires, including conducting check-ins at 30, 60, and 90 days.
  • Evaluate talent acquisition processes and data to enhance diversity in our candidate pool and workforce.
  • Plan and execute community outreach initiatives to cultivate talent pipelines and build relationships with community leaders.
  • Ensure job descriptions and postings convey a consistent message to attract potential candidates.
  • Provide guidance and support on recruitment structure, hiring practices, and onboarding procedures.
  • Manage online recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems.
  • Stay informed about recruiting resources to recommend innovative methods for attracting qualified candidates.
  • Deliver ongoing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics to management, including openings and time-to-fill statistics.
  • Organize and participate in on-site recruitment events at local educational institutions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with vendors such as LinkedIn and Indeed to integrate their services into our recruitment strategy.
  • Facilitate the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience, which includes resume reviews, phone interviews, background checks, and onboarding activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in recruiting and sourcing across various organizational levels.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential, or a willingness to obtain it, is a plus.
  • Experience in the construction industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills:
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities, including data analysis and metrics reporting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly responsive to both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with recruitment technology is a plus.
  • Able to independently manage multiple competing priorities.
  • A high sense of urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with hiring laws, regulations, and best practices is beneficial.
