A Day in the Life

The IT Talent Acquisition Specialist is a professional networker and relationship cultivator with a keen interest in the latest IT developments. This individual builds and nurtures connections with both active and passive job seekers, while collaborating with Business Development Managers to fulfill exciting project and direct-hire roles in the realm of information technology, spanning from Help Desk Support and Application Development to Network Engineering, CIOs, CTOs, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, interview, and assess candidates for client opportunities.
  • Develop long-term relationships with professionals in the IT sector; regularly participate in local user groups and networking events.
  • Analyze and comprehend technical job specifications and required skills.
  • Review, reformat, and present resumes to align with client expectations.
  • Formulate strategies to qualify candidates through various tools and networks.
  • Negotiate compensation rates with consultants based on position requirements.
  • Engage with candidates in person, via telephone, or through video conferencing to evaluate qualifications.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance the delivery strategy for consultants and candidates.
  • Work alongside teammates to fill open positions across different lines of business and/or national practices as necessary.
  • Actively promote in-demand skill sets to the sales team.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 1 year of experience in technology recruitment.
Basic Skills:

Minimal travel required for conferences or client engagements.
