Civil Transportation Specialist

As a Transportation Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting engineering calculations, drafting technical reports, and creating construction drawings in accordance with industry standards.
- Designing plans for roadway geometries, intersection layouts, drainage systems, pavement designs, and multimodal facilities.
- Developing conceptual designs and conducting feasibility studies.
- Preparing contract specifications and estimating project costs.
- Overseeing construction administration for various projects.
- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to project team members.

Qualifications:
We recognize that candidates may possess varying skills and experiences. If you meet some or all of the following criteria, we would be eager to discuss your potential fit:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Transportation Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required, or the ability to obtain one within a year.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, InRoads/Open Roads, Civil 3D, or Hydra Flow.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Experience with state or federal transportation authorities is advantageous.
