We are currently in search of a Civil/Transportation Engineer with approximately 6-10 years of relevant experience to join our team. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of engineering services within a collaborative environment, providing both public and private clients with expert engineering solutions for roadway enhancements, site development, erosion control, and stormwater management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing preliminary and final design plans across various jurisdictions
  • Utilizing CADD software for contract drawings, specifically Microstation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Creating visual aids for client meetings and presentations
  • Conducting calculations using spreadsheet software
  • Performing hydraulic assessments for erosion control and stormwater management
  • Preparing construction cost estimates
  • Interpreting agency standard drawings and specifications
  • Generating technical reports
  • Drafting technical specifications
  • Compiling documentation for necessary permits
  • Ensuring quality control on deliverables from team members

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required, with a Master's degree being advantageous. Professional Engineering registration is essential or the ability to obtain it.

Experience:

Six to ten years of civil engineering experience, particularly in the areas of highways and roadway projects, is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is necessary, along with experience in MicroStation/Inroads for 3D design.
