Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing design plans, preparing engineering calculations, and overseeing construction administration efforts for various transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction drawings using industry-standard guidelines.
  • Project Planning: Develop design plans for roadways, intersections, drainage systems, pavement design, and multimodal facilities.
  • Conceptual Planning: Develop conceptual plans and feasibility analysis for transportation projects.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare contract specifications and cost estimates for projects.
  • Technical Mentoring: Provide technical guidance and support to project staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Transportation Engineering.
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) License required or ability to obtain within a year.
  • Skills: Proficiency in engineering software such as MicroStation or AutoCAD, InRoads/Open Roads or Civil 3D, Hydra Flow.
  • Communication: Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Additional Requirements: Experience working with state or federal transportation authorities is a plus.
