Position Overview

Join our dedicated team at Trillium Family Services, where we are committed to providing exceptional mental health support through our innovative Psychiatric Day Treatment/PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program). This program is designed to deliver comprehensive mental health services, including individual and family therapy, medication management, and skills development.

Role Responsibilities

As a Youth and Family Counseling Specialist, you will be instrumental in offering therapeutic interventions to children, their families, educational institutions, and the broader community. Our Day Treatment programs operate at a partial hospitalization level, providing intensive mental health services within a structured, trauma-informed environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
  • Managing a caseload of 7-8 clients, delivering three hours of therapy weekly, which includes individual, family, and group sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Participating in on-call crisis intervention as a Children's Emergency Safety Intervention Specialist, sharing responsibilities with the clinical team.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Structure:

  • Unlicensed professionals: Starting at $68,320 (Dependent on Experience)
  • Licensed professionals in Oregon: Starting at $73,120 (Dependent on Experience)
  • Free In-House Licensure Supervision, potentially saving employees significant costs annually.
  • Daily stipend for on-call crisis management.
  • Standard Monday through Friday work schedule tailored to the needs of the Day Treatment Program.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals who possess:

  • A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Eligibility for certification as a licensed professional counselor, clinical social worker, psychologist, or marriage & family therapist in Oregon.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents.
  • Experience at the QMHA or QMHP level in outpatient mental health settings, including hospitals, residential facilities, or day treatment programs.
  • A passion for meaningful work and a desire for career advancement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in psychiatric care.
  • Strong differential diagnostic skills.
