Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Abrazo West Campus. As a RN L&D FT Nights, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, coordinating care planning with other disciplines and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
  • Coordinates care planning with other disciplines and acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees.
  • Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals and participates in hourly rounding.
  • Observes safety guidelines and safe work practices, and may be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).
Requirements
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
  • Preferred experience in acute care, with certification in specialty area of practice.
