Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Charge Med Surg FT Nights to join our team at Abrazo West Campus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll be responsible for coordinating functions and activities related to a single departmental function, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate scheduling efforts of unit RNs to ensure optimal patient care and unit efficiency
  • Act as liaison person to internal and external customers, including pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, and hospital administration
  • Develop and implement plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements
  • Train and mentor staff to ensure high-quality patient care and unit performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to implement change and manage departmental budget
  • Ability to make independent decisions in high-stress situations
Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

  • BSN degree
  • Management experience with two years of supervisory experience
  • Certification in specialty area of practice
