Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Charge Med Surg FT Nights to join our team at Abrazo West Campus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll be responsible for coordinating functions and activities related to a single departmental function, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate scheduling efforts of unit RNs to ensure optimal patient care and unit efficiency
- Act as liaison person to internal and external customers, including pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, and hospital administration
- Develop and implement plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements
- Train and mentor staff to ensure high-quality patient care and unit performance
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
- Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to independently make decisions in high-stress situations
- Preferred qualifications: BSN, management experience with two years of supervisory experience, and certification in a specialty area of practice
