We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Per Diem Nights team at Abrazo West Campus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare employees as needed, utilizing independent judgment and expertise.
- Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
- May be asked to assume charge responsibilities for a shift or period.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator experience.
- A nursing degree from an accredited nursing school and a valid Arizona RN license.
- CPR and ACLS certifications, with ACLS required upon orientation completion for ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, L&D, and PACU.
- PALS or ENPC certification required or must obtain within ninety days for ER, and NRP required upon orientation completion for L&D.
We prefer candidates with:
- One year of acute care experience, but will consider new graduates.
- Certification in specialty area of practice, such as CVICU or ICU.
