Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Abrazo West Campus. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients through one of the most significant moments of their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Act as a supervisor and delegate tasks to other healthcare employees as needed.
- Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
- May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervise other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
- Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
- Prefer 1 year of acute care experience but will consider new graduate.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree.
- Certification in specialty area of practice.
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification or must obtain within six months of hire.
