We are currently in search of a qualified Environmental Compliance Analyst to support our New Haven, CT office in various compliance initiatives. This role will primarily assist the Engineering and Compliance department, while also providing opportunities to collaborate with other teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with air and wastewater discharge permitting processes.
  • Ensure adherence to hazardous waste regulations.
  • Conduct multimedia sampling across environmental media, including air, water, soil, and waste.
  • Manage stormwater permitting and planning activities.
  • Prepare and submit Tier II and TRI (Toxics Release Inventory) reports.
  • Engage with a diverse clientele, including municipal agencies, healthcare providers, pharmaceutical R&D, and industrial sectors.
  • Participate in comprehensive compliance frameworks for air, water, soil, and waste management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory environmental requirements for clients.
  • Conduct site assessments and compliance checks at client facilities.
  • Work independently on complex projects while collaborating with team members as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Typically requires at least 1 year of relevant experience in environmental compliance; internship experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with Connecticut and federal environmental regulations is advantageous.
  • Experience in drafting environmental plans (e.g., stormwater pollution prevention plans, SPCC Plans) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in collecting multimedia environmental samples and comfort with outdoor sampling in various weather conditions.
  • OSHA 40 HAZWOPER training is preferred.
  • EIT certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of AutoCAD is a bonus.
