Key Responsibilities:


Facilitates the creation of the project charter while clarifying the scope, requirements, measurable outcomes, and benefits in partnership with process stakeholders.

Documents current and future business processes utilizing standard modeling tools and methodologies for process enhancement.
Breaks down high-level business and user requirements into detailed functional specifications.

Oversees the development of functional specifications by collaborating with stakeholders; gathering business needs; creating functional specifications; and identifying, documenting, and resolving design challenges.

Represents requirements through various perspectives, including analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or scenarios.

Delivers clear and concise analysis to empower business stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding problem-solving and opportunity identification.

Leads the analysis and verification of requirements, ensuring that statements are complete, consistent, concise, understandable, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, adhering to established standards.

Contributes to testing and quality assurance efforts. Works alongside developers and end-users to ensure application functionality aligns with client needs. Tests solutions, addresses issues, and coordinates enhancements.
Accountable for prioritizing requirements and analyzing solution risks.
Plans and communicates the departmental readiness strategy. Supports metrics integration and execution for optimal outcomes.
Develops and delivers training for end users.
May undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills and Abilities:
Experience in developing REDCap projects and solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into data capture and storage strategies. Skilled in crafting innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Demonstrates a high level of customer service.

Must communicate effectively and diplomatically in both written and verbal forms with internal and external contacts, faculty, researchers, and staff at all levels.

Proficient in team environments as well as self-directed independent projects. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities and deadlines. Exhibits leadership skills necessary for successful project completion.
Understanding of regulatory compliance. Ability to comprehend and communicate the implications of federal regulations and organizational policies related to clinical research and data compliance.

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree or a combination of 5 years of experience in a related IT or research role. Familiarity with clinical trial design, HIPAA regulations, and IRB requirements. Previous experience as a REDCap administrator and in developing REDCap projects. Knowledge of 21CFR Part 11 regulations, GCP requirements, and data management practices for FDA clinical trials.
