Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Environmental Compliance Engineer to become a vital part of our Environmental and Facilities department. This role will focus on compliance initiatives related to the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Hazardous Waste Compliance, and Underground Storage Tank (UST) Compliance for a diverse range of industrial and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting air permitting and wastewater discharge permitting.
  • Performing multimedia sampling and stormwater permitting and planning.
  • Preparing Tier II and TRI reports.
  • Assisting with UST compliance activities.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance.
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and reporting, as well as wastewater permitting.
  • Experience in writing stormwater pollution prevention plans and SPCC Plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
  • EIT certification is preferred.

Skills and Expertise
