Tesla Collision is on the lookout for a dynamic individual with a solid history of overseeing teams and processes to contribute to one of the most innovative automotive brands globally. As the Collision Center Operations Leader, you will take charge of managing the workflow and production staff at our OEM-owned Collision repair facility. This role necessitates a robust comprehension of collision shop business methodologies and operations, along with the adaptability to thrive in a fast-evolving business landscape. You should be an adept tactical problem solver capable of functioning in a high-energy environment, proficient in multitasking, and effectively guiding a team to meet business objectives and targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Collision Manager to supervise all daily functions of the Collision Center, ensuring consistent delivery of outstanding results across all business dimensions.
  • Oversee resource scheduling and allocation, enforce adherence to work quality standards, and possess a comprehensive understanding of your team's performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous enhancements to promote exceptional team productivity and customer satisfaction. You are expected to advocate for safety, efficiency, quality, and overall excellence in all your decisions and actions.
  • Anticipate and exceed goals and objectives for the facility through regular evaluations of shop operations.
  • Take initiative and foster a culture of accountability, consistently upholding the integrity of the Tesla brand, its processes, procedures, and values.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback, possessing a deep understanding of your team's strengths and areas for improvement. You will be responsible for leading transformation and motivating your team daily.
  • Execute other related tasks as assigned by the Regional Collision Manager.
Qualifications
  • Professional background: 5-8 years of management experience within the collision sector.
  • Leadership experience: Proven track record in leading teams and managing a diverse array of roles and responsibilities. A relevant certificate from a vocational school in Collision Repair is preferred.
  • Solution-oriented mindset, demonstrating a strong capability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to inspire the team to achieve business targets.
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently in environments with limited supervision. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding automotive repair procedures, along with knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials utilized in vehicle collision repair. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of repair estimates.
  • Valid Driver's License is preferred.
