As a Culinary Operations Leader, your primary focus is on delivering exceptional service to our guests and supporting our Team Members. You are passionate about ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of everyone involved.
Your leadership style is engaging yet focused, allowing you to express your unique personality while adhering to our established Framework. You are responsible for driving profitable sales within your gastrobar and adapting your leadership approach to maximize team performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Exemplify Bar Louie's Mission, Vision, and Values in your daily operations.
2. Maintain a rigorous commitment to cleanliness, safety, and accurate financials.
3. Oversee culinary operations in accordance with company policies, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
4. Uphold a professional image, including kitchen cleanliness and adherence to appearance standards.
5. Ensure accurate costing and documentation of all menu items.
6. Manage inventory procedures and establish stock levels for food and kitchen supplies.
7. Guarantee the security and proper storage of food products and kitchen equipment.
8. Maintain all kitchen equipment in operational condition and ensure regular cleaning.
9. Ensure compliance with sanitation and health department requirements.
10. Address maintenance needs promptly and resolve team conflicts efficiently.
Skills and Qualifications
A successful Culinary Operations Leader thrives in a dynamic environment, engaging with people and food. Key qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum age of 21.
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant management with a strong understanding of food service.
- Effective communication skills with Team Members and Guests.
- Ability to coach and develop staff at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service abilities and a commitment to hospitality.
Physical Requirements
Team Members must be able to perform the duties of the role, including:
- Frequent sitting, talking, and hearing.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Compliance with frequent hand washing and sanitation protocols.
