We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support our Compensation initiatives.

This individual will play a crucial role in collaborating with various Centers of Excellence (COEs), Business Technology, and Consulting partners to test and implement our future business processes, structures, and inter-team dependencies, ultimately enhancing our Workday system and user experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business analysis, requirements gathering, facilitation, and needs assessment:
  • Interpret and address the diverse needs and challenges of business partners, which may occasionally conflict; collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions that align with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze information collected from multiple sources, resolve discrepancies, transform high-level data into detailed insights, and translate technical information into accessible terms while identifying user requests versus actual needs.
  • Assist in requirements gathering through interviews, document reviews, workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and other analytical techniques.
  • Work collaboratively across functions with peers and extended project teams to identify dependencies and mitigate risks, ensuring awareness and resolution.
  • Facilitate comprehensive business analysis and experience design from initial business needs through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment.
  • Monitor and manage new compensation requests, maintaining a backlog, and engage with the business bi-weekly to prioritize needs while closely partnering with Business Technology to communicate timelines.
  • Support project planning, timelines, and risk management:
  • Contribute to and uphold detailed project management plans that ensure the successful achievement of all milestones, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Assist in tracking issues and risks, assigning ownership, and driving timely resolutions.
  • Keep partners informed of all backlog and project updates.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to organize complex tasks, decisions, and timelines into a cohesive plan with clear milestones and outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Familiarity with Workday Compensation and experience in related projects and implementations.
  • Enthusiastic about the evolution of HR technology and process design.
  • Capable of functioning as both a business analyst and project coordinator, adapting to the needs of the work, often managing multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Committed to enhancing employee experience, considering the entire design process and seeking opportunities to simplify, standardize, and influence solutions that improve intuitiveness for employees and managers.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to collaborate on innovative solutions to unexpected challenges.
  • Proficient in understanding business needs and translating requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Skilled at identifying gaps and collaborating on solutions across different processes and functions.
  • Able to manage multiple, rapidly-evolving priorities, tasks, and timelines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of partnering with individuals at various levels within and outside the Employee Success organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
Comprehensive understanding of HR processes and data

3-5 years of experience in HRIS/HR analysis

2+ years of experience with Workday

Project Management or Business Analyst Certification
