Key Responsibilities- Greet and check-in patients in a professional and courteous manner, verifying their information and ensuring their needs are met.
- Efficiently update and verify patient demographics, insurance, and contact information, and assist patients in completing necessary forms.
- Direct patients on next steps, inform them of delays and wait times, and provide thoughtful guidance throughout their visit.
- Promptly schedule appointments using provider templates and scheduling guidelines.
- Proactively request payments from patients on current and past medical services, and process those payments according to established procedures.
- Support administrative functions of the clinic, including working reports, addressing patient concerns, and performing paperwork.
- Coordinate with other care teams and employees to provide a seamless experience for patients.
- 6 months of customer service experience involving interactions with customers.
- Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
- Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- 1 year of customer service experience, especially in a hospital or medical office.
- Problem-solving ability, analytical skills, self-motivated, and able to work well in a clinic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
