Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in patients, verifying information and scheduling appointments as needed.
  • Update Electronic Health Records (EHR) and facilitate intake procedures, including completion of healthcare and insurance forms.
  • Collect payments for services and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Adhere to all organizational, local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, as well as patient billing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
