Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Mount Rushmore National Memorial. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for coordinating food service activities across our various outlets, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect food service facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with state and local laws.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving any food quality or service complaints.
  • Maintain high-quality and sanitation standards through regular inspections and tastings of prepared food.
  • Investigate and resolve any food quality or service complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that food outlets meet company standards, including queue times and customer flow.
  • Help to ensure cost control within the department by analyzing daily food sales, patron attendance, and labor costs.
  • Responsible for ensuring staff are properly trained for their assigned areas and consistently follow the correct processes and procedures.
  • Assist with planning and executing banquets and special events.
  • Provide input for scheduling and staffing needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of previous experience in a Front of House leadership role.
  • Previous experience with banquets and special events is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Beverage Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Must have ServSafe Manager certification or be able to obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with staff and guests.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision while working within set guidelines.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to different skill and ability levels.
