We are seeking a Food and Beverage Frontline Supervisor to contribute to our mission at Mount Rushmore.

Role Summary:

This position oversees food service operations across various outlets, including cafes, snack bars, and coffee stations, ensuring seamless service through direct involvement and leadership of staff.

Key Details:
Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Compensation: $20.05/hour
Work Schedule: Typically 40 hours per week, 5 days (may include weekends and holidays)

Ensure compliance of food service facilities and equipment with state and local regulations. Guarantee customer satisfaction through attentive service. Uphold high standards of quality and sanitation through regular inspections and food tastings. Address and resolve any food quality or service issues. Monitor food outlet performance to meet company standards, including wait times. Assist in managing departmental costs by analyzing food sales, guest attendance, and labor expenses. Train staff effectively in their designated roles, ensuring adherence to procedures, especially during peak seasons. Aid in the planning and execution of events and banquets. Provide input for staff scheduling. Support back-of-house operations as needed during off-peak times. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential responsibilities effectively. The qualifications listed below reflect the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Front of House leadership. Experience with event catering is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Food and Beverage Management or a related field is preferred. ServSafe Manager certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Strong customer service skills. Effective communication and listening abilities. Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently within established guidelines. Adaptability in training methods to accommodate various skill levels.
