We are seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Frontline Supervisor to enhance the visitor experience at Mount Rushmore.

Job Summary:

This position oversees food service operations across multiple outlets, including cafes, snack bars, and coffee stations, ensuring smooth and efficient service through direct involvement and leadership of staff.

Position Details:
Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Compensation: $20.05/hour
Work Schedule: Typically 40 hours per week, 5 days (may include weekends and holidays)

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food service areas. Strive for customer satisfaction and quality service. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food quality through regular inspections. Address and resolve any service or food quality issues. Monitor service efficiency and customer flow. Assist in managing departmental costs by analyzing sales and labor data. Train and supervise staff to ensure adherence to operational procedures. Support event planning and execution. Contribute to staff scheduling. Assist in back-of-house operations during slower periods as needed. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within food service. Experience with event catering is preferred. A degree in Food and Beverage Management or a related field is advantageous. ServSafe Manager certification is required or must be obtained shortly after hiring. Strong customer service skills. Effective communication abilities. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Self-motivated and able to work independently within established guidelines. Ability to adapt training approaches to various skill levels.
