Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Electronics Technician to contribute to our innovative projects. This role is part-time and presents the potential for future full-time employment. The position necessitates an on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and functional evaluations of IC prototypes and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) utilizing various testing instruments, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test equipment (ATE).
  • Configure and manage automated test equipment (ATE) to carry out established testing protocols.
  • Examine test outcomes to detect possible defects and failures within the IC design.
  • Record testing procedures, results, and root cause analyses of any failures.
  • Work collaboratively with design engineers and other team members to address identified challenges and enhance testing methodologies.
  • Assist in the final testing and distribution of prototype IC components to clients.
  • Ensure a tidy and organized workspace, maintaining proper handling and storage of testing equipment and materials.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in IC testing or a related area.
  • Proficient in utilizing automated test equipment (ATE) and testing software.
  • Strong grasp of digital electronics and semiconductor principles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and capacity to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
