Job Overview

Resource Innovations is on the lookout for a skilled Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Program Manager to enhance our dynamic Government Services team. This role is pivotal in driving the successful initiation of IRA programs, specifically focusing on Homes and HEEHRA across various states. You will receive guidance from our senior leadership team, including the SVP of Program Delivery and the VP of PMO, as you embark on this exciting journey.

As a Program Manager, you will have the unique chance to develop and establish a top-tier startup function that can be scaled nationwide. Once the initial launch phase is completed, your responsibilities will transition to overseeing the ongoing programs you helped initiate. Collaboration with senior program leaders will be essential to ensure that we meet our internal timelines and surpass partner and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support the execution of large-scale energy programs in conjunction with program leadership, delivery partners, and State Energy offices.
  • Monitor high-level program deliverables, timelines, and milestones to ensure alignment with the program's goals and priorities.
  • Organize and manage leadership meetings, including tracking agendas, documenting notes, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams such as Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Engage with clients both in-person and virtually throughout the project duration.
  • Assist in resolving issues by collaborating with colleagues and subcontractors, and prepare materials to inform leadership of emerging challenges.
  • Conduct necessary analyses to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the greater Phoenix area.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the energy efficiency sector.
  • Exceptional organizational and scheduling abilities.
  • Experience in client management.
  • Proven track record in tracking project timelines.
  • Willingness to exert extra effort when necessary, with support from the team.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to adapt and shift priorities as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Asana, Smartsheets, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
  • High degree of cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.

Preferred Experience and Education

  • Experience in energy efficiency or utility sectors, particularly in market transformation.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with governmental clients and agencies.
  • Prior experience in managing energy efficiency programs.
