Job Overview

Resource Innovations is in search of a skilled Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Startup Program Manager to enhance our expanding Government Services division. This role will focus on the effective initiation of IRA programs, including Homes and HEEHRA, across various states. You will collaborate closely with our senior leadership team, including the SVP of Program Delivery and the VP of PMO, as well as the entire Resource Innovations workforce. This position offers a unique chance to create and establish a top-tier startup function that can be scaled nationwide. Once the startup phase concludes, the responsibilities will transition to overseeing the programs you helped to initiate.

As a Program Manager at Resource Innovations, you will partner with senior program leaders to ensure we meet internal deadlines while exceeding expectations of our partners and clients. Your role will involve setting best practices, managing diverse projects, monitoring deliverables and milestones, and fostering collaboration across internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates and supports the activities of large-scale energy programs in conjunction with program leadership, delivery partners, and State Energy offices.
  • Monitors high-level program deliverables, timelines, and milestones to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Organizes meetings for leadership and other stakeholders, including agenda tracking, note-taking, and scheduling.
  • Coordinates with internal support teams, including Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Engages with clients both in-person and virtually throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assists in resolving issues by collaborating with colleagues and subcontractors, preparing materials for leadership briefings on emerging challenges.
  • Conducts necessary analyses to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to the greater Phoenix, AZ area.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in the energy efficiency sector.
  • Exceptional organizational and scheduling abilities.
  • Experience in client management.
  • Proven track record in tracking project timelines.
  • Willingness to exert extra effort when necessary, with the assurance of support.
  • Highly motivated with the capacity to adapt and shift priorities seamlessly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Asana, Smartsheets, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • High degree of cultural sensitivity and inclusiveness.

Preferred Experience and Education

  • Previous experience in energy efficiency or utility sectors is desirable, particularly in market transformation.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with governmental clients and agencies.
  • Prior experience in managing energy efficiency programs.
