We are currently in search of a Patient Services Coordinator / Reception Specialist to enhance our operations and assist our dermatology team and patients.

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Patient Services Coordinator / Reception Specialist, your responsibilities will include patient registration, appointment scheduling, and managing clinical inquiries for various practices and facilities.
This role is primarily based at our dermatology practice, with flexibility to cover additional locations as needed.
SCHEDULE:
Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with one evening shift extending until 5:30 PM.
COMPENSATION:
**Competitive hourly wage (commensurate with experience), paid bi-weekly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To excel in this role, an individual must effectively perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Greet patients, ensuring accurate registration and scheduling.
- Triage and direct clinical inquiries appropriately.
- Assist patients with necessary documentation as required.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area and waiting room.
- Escalate questions or issues to the relevant resources as necessary.
- Meet departmental productivity benchmarks.
- Understand billing information to assist providers and medical staff.
- Familiarize yourself with services offered by practitioners and their locations.
- Enter referral information accurately.
- File and retrieve medical records as needed.
- Ensure regular and dependable attendance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 year of customer service experience in a call center, healthcare, or retail setting.
- Ability to request payment from patients at the time of service.
- Proficient in navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, use hands to manipulate objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl; communicate verbally or audibly; and perform tasks requiring specific vision abilities.
The employee may occasionally lift, push, pull, or move up to 20 pounds. Repetitive motion of the upper body is necessary for prolonged computer use.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Operates in a well-lit, ventilated, and climate-controlled office environment equipped with standard office machinery; some equipment may have moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is typical for an office and/or medical clinic setting.
