This position involves the transportation of patients, employing the innovative Traversa Broda Stretcher Chair for secure and effective transfers. If you possess a passion for patient care and maintain a clean driving record, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for patient transport.
  • Utilize the Traversa Broda chair to assist patients during transfers to and from beds and examination tables.
  • Deliver professional and compassionate care throughout the transport process.
  • Help patients board and exit the vehicle, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Keep accurate records of transportation and patient interactions.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members.
  • Employ CNA skills to provide basic medical assistance when necessary.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding patient care and transport.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history; candidates must be 25 years or older.
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
  • Experience in patient transport and familiarity with wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
  • Understanding of patient transfer techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to manage physically demanding tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
