Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in the operation of Appalachian Regional Healthcare, Inc. by providing administrative support to the Facilities Maintenance Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist employees with personnel and labor relations matters.
  • Compile and analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, special projects, and personnel duties as assigned.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and review reports for accuracy.
  • Administer payroll functions for employees.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of CPT Coding related to charges and collections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Associate's degree with two years of experience in administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of five years of experience in administration, management, or business-related fields, preferably in a healthcare environment.
