Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team at LG Chem America, Inc. in Troy, Michigan.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze and write reports, as well as use basic office software (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Knowledge of SAP (ERP) system is preferred.

The salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing accounts and develop new customers and markets for petrochemical plastics in North America.
  • Frequently visit and communicate with customers to determine needs, generate solutions, and strengthen client relationships.
  • Research and analyze industry information to accurately apply pricing and maximize company sales and profits.
  • Supervise and manage logistics of shipments through SAP system to ensure JIT delivery.
  • Conduct market research and provide reports of current market situation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Engineering or Business Related.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in analyzing and writing reports.
  • Skilled in use of basic office software (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
