Job Title: Customer Service Director

The role of the Customer Service Director at Hampton Inn by Hilton Augusta involves overseeing the coordination of front office activities and resolving issues arising from guests' complaints, reservations, and room assignments. This position requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to ensure exceptional customer service across all hotel areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise front desk staff to guarantee outstanding customer service in all areas of the hotel.
  • Speak, read, write, and understand English to interact with guests, staff, and handle administrative duties.
  • Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a professional demeanor even in stressful situations.
  • Work collaboratively with associates to provide top-notch customer service.
  • Analyze reports, financial statements, and correspondence to make informed decisions.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of hotel operations and front office management, as well as a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
  • Negotiate effectively and resolve guest issues confidently.
  • Counsel and communicate with associates as necessary.
  • Express thoughts clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
  • Organize yourself, your work, and the efforts of others, paying close attention to detail.
  • Makes sound judgments on the various components of the position and property to solve guest and operational problems efficiently.


Requirements:

A college degree is preferred; however, a high school diploma and 2-3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience are also acceptable. Marriott brand and FOSSE experience are highly valued. A competitive salary range for this position is approximately $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
