Client Support Specialist

This role is a 12-month engagement with a work schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate under general supervision to assess and validate documentation, draft standard correspondence, and manage filing systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies.
- Scrutinize documents such as applications, forms, vouchers, records, and reports for precision and completeness, ensuring adherence to legal standards, making necessary amendments, and assigning file identifiers.
- Communicate with relevant agencies or individuals to gather further information or rectify inconsistencies in documentation, providing notifications of acceptance or rejection.
- Investigate various data repositories and/or computer records to extract information and compile data for reporting purposes.
- Create and maintain document files, ensuring they are updated and purged as necessary. Input data into the computer system and make modifications or corrections as required.
- Keep an activity log and/or financial ledger, submitting reports to supervisors. Draft and type standard correspondence and form letters, and may perform calculations related to rates, fees, taxes, assessments, and fines. Execute additional duties as assigned.
- Familiarity with record-keeping practices.
- Basic arithmetic proficiency.
- Understanding of fundamental grammar.
- Competence in computer usage and software applications.
- Ability to conduct research and compile data into report format.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining filing systems.
- Proficiency in operating standard office equipment.
- Capability to analyze documents for compliance with established rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Candidates must possess a formal education equivalent to a high school diploma and demonstrate basic computer skills, including data entry.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
- Additional job-related education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of these basic requirements, excluding certification or licensure prerequisites.
