- Culinary Operations: Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate our culinary team to achieve exceptional results, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure their success.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing of ingredients and supplies, to ensure that we maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all menu items meet our standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Cost Control: Work closely with our finance team to manage labor and food costs, ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that our kitchen operations comply with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our team members.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or culinary degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant.
- Certifications: ServSafe certification required (can be received in-house).
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a customer service orientation.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds; manual dexterity required for use of kitchen equipment.
