The Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for the seamless functioning of our production facility. This role entails ensuring that production objectives are achieved, quality benchmarks are upheld, and overall operational efficiency is maximized. The position offers strategic direction and oversight to the daily activities with the aim of enhancing growth and profitability, alongside providing leadership and management to the plant workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strong leadership to the manufacturing team, promoting a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and ongoing enhancement.
  • Supervise and manage daily production operations to fulfill output goals while ensuring superior quality standards.
  • Develop and execute effective production methodologies, pinpoint bottlenecks, and refine workflows to boost overall efficiency.
  • Initiate and track quality enhancement programs to improve product excellence and uniformity.
  • Guarantee adherence to all applicable regulations and standards governing manufacturing operations.
  • Formulate and oversee the operational budget, striving to optimize expenses while upholding high operational standards.
  • Identify and enact cost-reduction strategies without compromising product integrity or safety.
  • Organize, direct, and manage optimal daily operations.
  • Administer production capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary expenditures and maintaining existing quality standards.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing management, ideally within a metal forming context.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Familiarity with safety, quality, productivity, demand generation, inventory, and stewardship processes.
  • Previous experience in Plant Management or supervisory roles is essential.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and MS Office software.
