Key Responsibilities- Oversee and ensure quality control for pharmacy technicians.
- Manage the replenishment of automated counting systems.
- Conduct product verification for items prepared by technicians.
- Handle orders that require special patient-specific instructions.
- Provide direct supervision to technicians across all pharmacy operations.
- Ensure the pharmacy is securely opened and closed during operational hours.
- Dispense liquid medications as required.
- Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Comply with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Train and mentor other pharmacists and technicians in their roles.
- Support fellow pharmacists as needed and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Graduate from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Current pharmacist license in good standing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and collaborative skills to address issues across departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and understand prescriptions.
- Commitment to customer service, quality, and precision.
- Capability to manage timelines and meet strict deadlines.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during peak times.
This position requires onsite presence and operates on a third-shift schedule.
