Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development and Growth to join our team at Red Cedar Homes. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth, expanding our market presence, and securing strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development and Growth
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify and evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats to inform strategic decision-making.
- Investor Relations and Fundraising
- Lead efforts to secure funding for our residential and commercial projects by identifying, targeting, and engaging potential investors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, ensuring their confidence in our projects and their continued financial commitment.
- Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions, that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Pipeline Management
- Develop and manage a pipeline of potential projects and investment opportunities, from initial prospecting to deal closure.
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the business development team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, fundraising, or investor relations within the real estate development sector, with a focus on residential and/or commercial projects.
- Demonstrated ability in sales and fundraising.
- Experience leading and mentoring a team with the ability to achieve ambitious goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- Local market knowledge, Charlotte NC.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problem solver capable of independently finding solutions or working with team members when needed.
- Must be a detail-oriented team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a heavy workload.
- Possess a valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred.
- Able to professionally perform multiple detail-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
