Position Overview:
The Senior Analyst for Investment Applications within the Core Business Systems Team plays a crucial role in supporting Investment Applications and associated processes.

This position requires a blend of financial industry expertise and technological proficiency to meet the demands of system business owners and the IT operations team.

The Senior Analyst is tasked with monitoring and troubleshooting essential daily business operations to ensure that key systems function optimally. This role involves collaborating with business owners to identify enhancements, driving continuous operational improvements, gathering and defining requirements from stakeholders, and contributing to various projects.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and maintain the company's Investment Applications, including OMS, IBOR, Collateral System, and Order Taking platforms.

2. Analyze and resolve system-related issues to guarantee uninterrupted system operations.

3. Document and prioritize issues, escalating them to the internal IT team and, when necessary, to third-party system providers.

4. Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify and outline system enhancement initiatives.

5. Assist subject matter experts in the analysis, planning, design, development, and effective use of Portfolio systems.

6. Conduct both high-level and detailed requirements gathering, test planning, and execution.

7. Document requirements and engage in the design of various application integration and automation processes.

8. Support the implementation of fund changes, report generation, and testing of data flows in Middle Office systems.

9. Monitor performance metrics and devise strategies for improvement.

10. Document critical processes and procedures, logging significant issues and enhancement requests in JIRA.

11. Assist in project management by coordinating with stakeholders and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including issues, risks, and decisions.

12. Contribute to the development of automated solutions to address daily operational requirements.

13. Ensure the integrity of security master data and facilitate necessary adjustments.

14. Monitor trade flows between OMS and IBOR systems.

15. Collaborate with dealers and custody to enhance and optimize workflows.

16. Build out Electra Reconciliations.

17. Monitor critical MFT files between Portfolio systems.

18. Foster cross-functional understanding of process management needs.

19. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.


A minimum of 7+ years of experience with OMS and IBOR systems, along with a comprehensive understanding of trade lifecycle, fund operations, and front-to-middle office functions.

Strong experience as a business analyst (requirements gathering, documentation, design, configuration, testing)

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple production issues effectively.

Experience with Eze OMS, Advent, Electra, and FTP processes is essential.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Jenkins, Python, SQL, VBA, C#, and C++.

Familiarity with Data Warehouse, JIRA, and Confluence is preferred.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.


Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with the capacity to engage with various departments and all levels of management.

Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit with self-motivation and initiative.

Ability to work independently with thoroughness and attention to detail.

Developed time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
