We are seeking a **Manager, Investments (Development)** to join our regional office located in a dynamic market. The **Manager of Investments** will be involved in all aspects of the development process, including site identification, acquisition, underwriting, zoning/entitlements, design, permitting, construction, leasing, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all aspects of the development/redevelopment of shopping center properties from acquisition through entitlement, design, construction, leasing, and completion.
  • Work with internal teams and manage external resources throughout the project planning process.
  • Assist with the entitlement path and interface with governmental agencies to obtain approvals.
  • Provide analytical support in anchor tenant evaluations, market evaluations, land use, and cost estimating.
  • Assist operations department with projects that require development expertise.
  • Develop and maintain industry and client relationships. Provide support and interface with city and community stakeholders.
  • Other special projects as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least three (3) years of related work experience in commercial real estate.
  • Development, leasing, due diligence, underwriting, and financial modeling experience.
  • Knowledge of the development fundamentals: process, underwriting, design, entitlement, construction, and project management.
  • Ability to travel within the region as necessary.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Project or other scheduling software.
  • Advanced spreadsheet and financial analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Real Estate Development, MBA with Finance and real estate courses, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate, ideally in the retail sector.
