Key Responsibilities
  • Lead security assessments and testing, utilizing industry-leading methodologies and frameworks.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring seamless integration with existing security controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security controls are integrated into system designs.
  • Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity principles and organizational requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Four years of experience in Security Control Assessment and Defensive Cyber Operations Testing, or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of cybersecurity experience with at least one year of experience conducting SCAs under ICD 503/CNSSI 1253 NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Risk Management Framework (RMF), or a similar framework.
  • One full year of SCA experience within the last three calendar years.
  • Experience performing security assessments in a cloud environment (AWS, Google, IBM, Azure, and Oracle).
  • Knowledge of Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) of security controls, general attack strategies, and NISPOM, ICD 503, NIST SP 800-53, ICD 705, and other ICDs.
  • Expertise in conducting risk-based assessments within Operational Technology (OT) systems.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of network access, identity, and access management.
  • Ability to assess the robustness of security systems and designs.
  • Strong writing skills.
