Core Software Technologies Inc. is seeking a talented and passionate Data Visualization Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming complex data into insightful and actionable visualizations that drive business decisions.

As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will leverage your expertise in Tableau to create interactive dashboards, reports, and other visual representations of data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver compelling visualizations that effectively communicate key insights.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Dashboards: Create engaging and user-friendly Tableau dashboards that meet specific business requirements, incorporating interactive elements and dynamic features for enhanced user experience.
  • Data Integration and Connection: Establish seamless connections between Tableau and various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based repositories. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure smooth data integration processes.
  • Data Preparation and Transformation: Clean, transform, and prepare raw data for analysis and visualization within Tableau, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Custom Calculations and Analysis: Develop calculated fields and custom formulas to perform advanced data manipulations and calculations, enabling deeper insights from the data.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for optimal performance, particularly when handling large datasets.
  • User Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training sessions to end-users on how to effectively interact with and interpret Tableau dashboards. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure user satisfaction.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand their data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and database systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
  • Tableau certification.
