Job Overview:

The Security Cooperation Program Office (SCPO) at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Sustainment Group, specifically within the International Sustainment Department (ISD) V45, is tasked with delivering comprehensive Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) support services for two Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements aimed at both new and existing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the government Program Manager in all logistics aspects related to acquisition and execution by formulating and proposing effective strategies.
  • Collect, analyze, and present data from diverse sources in preparation for reviews and meetings.
  • Conduct Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) analysis independently for aircraft, airborne weapons, and Support Equipment (SE) programs.
  • Oversee life cycle sustainment and logistics support services throughout all acquisition life cycle phases, including new program logistics support, sustainment, and disposal.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) to the Program Manager, Case Manager, and logistics personnel.
  • Offer insights for the development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Management Plans.
  • Evaluate potential changes to aircraft/weapons/SE quantities and assess their impact on program life cycle support.
  • Implement government-established processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.
  • Support and participate in Program Management Reviews, Technical Coordination Meetings, conferences, briefings, and other significant program activities and events as required.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree from an accredited institution and over ten (10) years of relevant experience in fields related to FMS, logistics, program management, or technical/business analysis in acquisition and life cycle management is mandatory. Additional experience may substitute for a master's or bachelor's degree.

An active Secret or Interim Secret clearance is required.

This position is contingent upon funding availability.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $88,000 - $100,000. Actual salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
