Title:

Logistics Analyst

KBR is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our team. As a part of one of the world’s largest independent logistics organizations supporting both US Government and commercial agencies, you will be joining a highly talented and experienced KBR Logistics team providing FMS Logistics services to all NAVAIR aviation programs.

As a winner of the National Logistics Contract, the selected applicant will work within the Security Cooperation Office (SSCO) composed of government, military, contractor and industry personnel while supporting FMS logistics projects.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provides logistics support to the government by assisting with the development of pre-case, initial, and sustaining Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements for FMS cases.

  • Maintain complete and accurate status/tracking for spares and support equipment procurements for the program office.

  • Laisse with both NAVSUP and NAWC Lakehurst to ensure all spares procurements have updated status and to ensure required delivery dates are met.

  • ​Supports program efforts, including the analysis of special FMS logistics issues and requirements for major weapon systems programs.

  • Analyzes unique and vexing FMS logistic problem areas and recommends solutions.

  • Addresses issues of complexity and significance beyond generic logistics requirements and provides research, analysis, and recommendations to senior personnel.

  • Most work will be conducted on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD, however, some domestic and international travel will be required in support of logistics activities.

  • Provides Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) support services for 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to new and existing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.

  • Life cycle sustainment and logistics support services covers all phases of the acquisition life cycle, including new program logistics support, sustainment and disposal.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and greater than three (3) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning.

  • An active Secret Security Clearance or Interim Secret Clearance required.

  • Must be familiar with the 12 IPS elements which are: Product/Program Support Management; Sustaining Engineering; Supply Support; Maintenance Planning & Management; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T); Technical Data (TD) Management; Support Equipment; Training & Training System Support; Manpower & Personnel; Facilities & Infrastructure; Computer Resources and Design Interface.

  • Must be able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

  • Must be able to travel as required for role.

  • Must be able to operate effectively at remote work sites without direct supervision.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and similar computer-based productivity applications.
