Role Summary: The Senior Logistics Analyst will play a pivotal role within the Security Cooperation Program Office (SCPO) at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Sustainment Group. This position is focused on delivering Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) support services for Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to both new and existing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the transportation of hazardous, classified, oversized, and general cargo related to defense systems, ensuring safety, security, and compliance with regulations.
  • Assess shipments of high-value and sensitive materials to identify the most cost-effective transportation methods for international delivery.
  • Review and evaluate the transportation processes of Ally Partners to ensure adherence to U.S. export/import laws, recommending alternative procedures as necessary.
  • Develop or modify Transportation Plans to guarantee timely and compliant delivery of classified and Communication Security (COMSEC) materials.
  • Collaborate with origin shippers, DoD entities, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), and Ally Partner Freight Forwarders.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation for accuracy and feasibility.
  • Coordinate Special Assignment Airlift Missions (SAAM) and manage channel airlift logistics. Support the Program Office in new business development and FMS or Security Cooperation case activities.
  • Participate in meetings with the Program Office and Ally Partners, providing technical briefings and updates on significant transportation policy matters.
  • Engage in Program Management Reviews, Technical Coordination Meetings, and other relevant program activities, both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution and over ten (10) years of professional experience are required.
  • Additional experience may substitute for educational qualifications.
  • Active Secret or Interim Secret clearance is mandatory.
  • This position is contingent upon funding availability.

Salary Information: The anticipated salary range for this role is $103,000 - $116,000, contingent upon experience, geographic location, and contractual obligations.
