Role SummaryAs a Field Sales Engineer Intern, your contributions are vital in supporting the USA sales team and our clientele. Your knowledge and insights as a trusted consultant are crucial for upholding our esteemed reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction. It is imperative that you demonstrate strong collaborative skills and a diligent work ethic, while also being capable of working efficiently and intelligently. We seek an individual who is proactive and motivated.
Key Responsibilities- Exhibit professionalism towards colleagues and clients.
- Possess technical expertise in engineering, ideally with a background in science.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the equipment and all mechanical components, recognizing the significance of GMPs, QA, and GDPs, along with the application processes.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities during installations and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct both in-person and virtual meetings with clients in your designated region.
- Gather pertinent information during these meetings to ensure we meet clients' needs and provide optimal solutions.
- Timely quoting for customers, leveraging internal Technical Services for accurate information.
- Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.
- Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Proficiency in Spanish, German, or Chinese is advantageous.
Education: Bachelor’s degree with a focus on mechanical engineering and bioprocessing skills.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
Skills Required- Degree in engineering or life sciences from an accredited institution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Applicants must reside in the USA.
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
- Salary information is available only to candidates in California, with compensation varying based on experience, qualifications, and location.
- Possession of a passport for technical training in China and/or Germany is required.
