Role Summary

As a Field Sales Engineer Intern, your contributions are vital in assisting the USA sales team and our clientele. Your knowledge and insights as a trusted consultant are crucial for upholding our esteemed reputation and ensuring client satisfaction. We seek an individual who embodies strong collaborative skills and a diligent work ethic, while also demonstrating the ability to work effectively and intelligently. A proactive and motivated approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Exhibit professionalism towards colleagues and clients.
  2. Possess technical expertise in engineering, ideally with a scientific background.
  3. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of equipment and all mechanical components, recognizing the significance of GMPs, QA, and GDPs.
  4. Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities during installations and maintenance schedules.
  5. Conduct both in-person and virtual meetings with clients within your designated region.
  6. Gather pertinent information during these interactions to address client needs and propose optimal solutions.
  7. Provide timely quotations to clients, ensuring efficient communication.
  8. Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.
  9. Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills.
  10. Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
  11. Proficiency in Spanish, German, or Chinese is advantageous.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree focusing on mechanical engineering and bioprocessing skills.

Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills
  1. Degree in engineering or life sciences from an accredited institution.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  3. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  4. Capability to complete tasks efficiently.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Work Authorization
  1. Applicants must reside in the USA.
  2. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Salary range information is available only to California candidates, with compensation varying based on experience, qualifications, and location.
  4. Possession of a passport for technical training in China and/or Germany is required.
