Core Responsibilities:
- Technical Assistance: Respond to support inquiries via help desk channels, diagnose basic hardware, software, and network problems, and maintain detailed records of all incidents.
- Inventory Oversight: Receive, document, and distribute packages as needed.
- Issue Resolution: Provide support for desktop and laptop challenges, network access, and Office 365 applications. Assist with printer setups and remote assistance.
- User Account Management: Administer user profiles, including password resets and access issues.
- Client Interaction: Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and effective communication.
- Additional Responsibilities: Configure new workstations, conduct routine maintenance, and collaborate on various IT initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma is required; an associate's degree in Information Technology is preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years in technical support or help desk roles is preferred. Familiarity with remote management tools, user account management, and Office 365 is advantageous.
- Technical Proficiencies: Strong skills in desktop troubleshooting, basic networking, and proficiency in Windows operating systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication abilities, organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or similar certifications are beneficial. On-the-job training will be provided.
Work Environment:
- This is a full-time onsite position.
- May require occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Involves periodic visits to client locations.
