Job Title: Medical Support Specialist

Adecco Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's team in Mesa, AZ, as a Medical Support Specialist. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing donor eligibility, managing informed consent, providing AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, conducting medical history interviews and acceptance checks, performing physical examinations, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess donor eligibility and manage informed consent
  • Provide AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion
  • Conduct medical history interviews and acceptance checks
  • Perform physical examinations and blood testing
  • Review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results
  • Follow relevant SOPs for medical emergencies, including implementing the Center Physician's standing orders and arranging donor transport to emergency care facilities
  • Team up with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when needed to provide unacceptable findings to donors or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility
  • Champion vaccination Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable
  • Master the art of incident management and evaluate donor reactions at the facility in accordance with SOPs
Requirements:
  • RN license in AZ
  • BLS & CPR (Adult & Pediatric)
  • High School Diploma
  • Preferred: Plasma knowledge and Venipuncture skills
