Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager

The Hotel Zamora, a luxurious boutique hotel located in St. Pete Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the operation of our food and beverage services.

Job Summary

The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operation of the hotel's food and beverage services, including the Rooftop Lounge, Sidewalk Restaurant, Private Dining, and Meeting/Banquet space. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and train staff, manage inventory, and ensure profitability and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department, including staffing, scheduling, and training.
  • Develop and implement menus, wine lists, and other food and beverage programs to meet guest expectations and drive revenue.
  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs, including inventory management and labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, federal, and state regulations related to food and beverage service, sanitation, and personnel.
  • Supervise and coordinate the setup and execution of internal and external events throughout the property.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menu planning, preparation, and presentation of food and drinks.
  • Ensure that dining room service meets high standards of quality, safety, and ambiance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, or service industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant management software and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work long shifts for special events and large crowds.
