Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Operations Leader to join our dynamic team at the renowned Bongos Beach Bar. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for hospitality and a meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Food and Beverage Operations Leader, your duties will include:

  • Overseeing daily operations of the beach bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and staff supervision.
  • Maintaining optimal inventory levels and quality standards.
  • Developing and executing promotional strategies to enhance sales and revenue.
  • Monitoring food quality and service levels to ensure a seamless operation.
  • Recruiting, training, and managing staff while forecasting and scheduling based on occupancy trends.
  • Conducting payroll and revenue monitoring, coaching staff, and holding regular team meetings.
  • Ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere by inspecting dining areas and service stations.
  • Managing inventory control, placing orders, and assisting with month-end inventory assessments.
  • Participating in departmental meetings and collaborating with management on events and promotions.
  • Addressing guest feedback and complaints in a professional manner.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of progressive supervisory or management experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software such as InfoGenesis, OpenTable, Craftable, or similar platforms.
  • The ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • A background in managing a high-volume bar environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
